What does this image watermark tool do?
This tool stamps a text or logo watermark onto one or more images directly in your browser, with control over opacity, size, rotation, position, and a tiled repeat mode that covers the whole frame. It uses the Canvas API to draw and export the result, so your photos are never uploaded to a server.
How to add a watermark
- Drop one or more images onto the drop zone, or click Browse files.
- Choose Text and type your watermark, or switch to Image / logo and upload a PNG logo (transparent backgrounds work best).
- Adjust opacity, size, and rotation to taste, and pick a spot on the 9-point position grid, or switch to Tiled to repeat the watermark across the whole image.
- Check the live preview on the active image, then click Watermark this image or Watermark all images to process the batch.
- Download a single result or grab the whole batch as a ZIP.
- Click Save preset to store your current settings under a name, so you can reapply the exact same watermark next time in one click.
Text vs. image watermarks
A text watermark is quick to set up - type a name, copyright line, or URL, pick a font and color, and it scales with the image automatically. An image watermark lets you stamp an actual logo or signature; upload a PNG with a transparent background for the cleanest result, since the watermark keeps its own transparency when composited onto the photo.
Opacity, size, and rotation
Opacity controls how visible the watermark is against the photo - lower it for a subtle mark that doesn't distract from the image, or raise it for a bold, unmissable stamp. Size scales the watermark relative to the image width, so the same setting looks proportional whether you're watermarking a thumbnail or a full-resolution photo. Rotation angles the watermark, which is especially useful in tiled mode to make it harder to clone out.
Single position vs. tiled watermarks
The 9-point position grid places a single watermark in a corner, edge, or the center of the image - the standard approach for a subtle credit or logo. Tiled mode instead repeats the watermark in a diagonal grid across the entire frame with adjustable spacing, which is much harder to crop or retouch out and is the better choice for protecting proofs, previews, or stock samples before a client pays for the final file.
Reusable watermark presets
Once you've dialed in a watermark - your logo, opacity, position, and tiling settings - click Save preset to store it by name in your browser. Presets appear as chips above the options, so you can reapply your studio's standard watermark to a new batch of photos in a single click without rebuilding the settings each time.
Batch watermarking
Drop in multiple images and each one keeps its own preview and result - editing the active image doesn't affect the others. Click Watermark all images to apply the current text or logo, opacity, position, and tiling settings to the whole batch at once, then download everything as a ZIP.
