What the random name generator does
Use this tool to generate fictional random name combinations. Choose a visible Nationality preset, select a Gender, and set the Quantity; results update automatically. The available presets include American, British, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Brazilian, Mexican, Russian, Nordic, and Indian. Nordic is a regional preset rather than a nationality.
Generated names are random outputs. Do not treat them as verified identities or unique names; a result may coincidentally match a real person.
Choose the generation options
- Nationality: Choose one of the available presets.
- Gender: Choose Any, Male, or Female.
- Quantity: Enter a value from
1to100. - Fake Identity: Turn this option on if you want to test its additional generated output. The page does not document its exact fields or value ranges.
Generate, copy, or download the results
- Choose a Nationality and Gender.
- Enter the number of results in Quantity.
- Optionally enable Fake Identity.
- The results list updates automatically.
- Use Copy All to copy the generated batch or Download TXT to download it.
Each settings change replaces the current list. Fake Identity lines use the format Name — City — [email protected]; otherwise each line contains only the name.
Limitations and privacy considerations
The page does not document the source or methodology of the nationality name pools. Avoid assuming that a preset is culturally authoritative, statistically representative, or based on name-frequency data.
The page imports analytics scripts and other external resources. It does not establish that the tool works fully offline or that interaction data cannot be transmitted. Do not use generated names as identity verification or as a substitute for real records.
Frequently asked questions
Are the generated names real people?
No. The tool produces fictional random outputs. A result can still coincidentally match a real person, so do not treat it as a verified identity or a unique name.
Can I generate only male or only female names?
Yes. Use Gender and choose Male, Female, or Any; the results update automatically.
Is there a limit to how many names I can generate?
Yes. The Quantity field accepts values from 1 to 100.
How do I export the generated names?
After generating results, click Copy All to copy the batch or Download TXT to download it as a text file. Each TXT line contains one generated result; Fake Identity lines use the format Name — City — [email protected].
What does Fake Identity mode add?
Fake Identity is an optional setting available before generation. Fake Identity adds a city and an example.test email address to each generated result.
