How to clean and merge lines
Use the preset to turn one item per line into one comma-and-space-separated result. Follow the workflow in order:
- Paste your text into Paste your text here - one item per line....
- Review the generated steps and the read-only output field labeled Result will appear here....
- After checking the result, select Copy or Download.
What the three steps do
The preset applies these steps in the displayed order:
- Remove BOM & Invisible Characters runs first. The documented purpose is to remove byte-order marks and non-printable control characters.
- Remove Accents runs second. Documented examples such as
é,ü, andçare converted to plain ASCII equivalents. The complete conversion mapping is not documented. - Merge Lines runs last. It trims whitespace from each line and joins the lines with the default comma-and-space separator:
,.
Separator and template limitations
This page is read-only and does not show a separator control. To change the default , separator, open Tool Combiner and edit the Merge Lines step.
The result is joined text. This page does not document full CSV formatting or SQL syntax handling. In particular, CSV quoting and escaping, including values that contain commas, are not documented. Handle those requirements yourself before using the result in another format.
- The exact characters removed by Remove BOM & Invisible Characters are not documented.
- The complete accent and ligature mapping is not documented.
Review the output carefully when accents or exact Unicode text must be preserved.
Privacy and documented processing limits
This page documents that processing happens entirely in your browser and that your text never leaves your device. No line-count, character-count, file-size, processing-time, performance, or browser-compatibility limit is documented here.
