What the tool does
Remove Duplicate Words removes repeated words from text entered in the left field. The page describes the result as keeping the original order, and the processed text appears in the right field.
How to use the tool
- Enter or paste text into the left field.
- Use Upload or drag a supported text file onto the page. Accepted formats are TXT, CSV, LOG, and Markdown text.
- Adjust Case sensitive or Trim spaces between words if needed.
- Review the processed text in the right field.
- Use Copy to copy the result or Download to save it.
Available controls
- Case sensitive: when checked, words with different capitalization are treated as different; when unchecked, capitalization is ignored while matching.
- Trim spaces between words: checked by default, this joins retained words with single spaces and removes leading/trailing whitespace on each line; when unchecked, the original whitespace around retained words is preserved.
Limitations and behavior to verify
No fixed input-size limit is documented locally. Upload accepts TXT, CSV, LOG, and Markdown text files; pasted text is also supported.
Duplicate matching is performed independently within each line. Runs of non-whitespace characters are treated as words, so punctuation remains part of each word. Line breaks are preserved; trimming changes the whitespace joining retained words as described above.
Structured data describes local browser processing. That does not establish a complete guarantee about security, retention, speed, or unlimited input.
