Paste multiple lines into the input. The tool joins them into one output string using the text in Separator:. The default separator is , .
Controls and output
- Separator: is a text field. Type the literal text to insert between processed lines.
- Trim spaces & empty lines is checked initially. Change it when you need a different result, then review the output.
- Upload or dropping a text file anywhere on the page loads it into the input area.
- The output textarea updates automatically as the input or settings change. Use Copy to copy it or Download to save it.

Separator examples
For this input:
Apple
Orange
Banana
The default , produces Apple, Orange, Banana. Entering | produces Apple|Orange|Banana.
The tool inserts the separator literally. It does not quote or escape text, so a separator that already appears inside an input line can make later parsing ambiguous.
What the tool does not format automatically
- There is no SQL mode or control for adding quotes and parentheses.
- There is no CSV quoting or escaping control. The result is joined text, not automatically validated CSV.
- Any surrounding syntax or escaping required by another format must be handled separately.
Limitations and file handling
- No published line-count or maximum input-size limit is shown on the page.
- The file workflow reads a selected or dropped file as text and places that text in the input. Accepted file types and file-size behavior are not documented here.
- The exact handling of trailing line breaks, carriage returns, blank lines, and whitespace when trimming is unchecked is not documented. Check the output before using it elsewhere.
- The downloaded filename and browser-specific download behavior are not documented in the page implementation reviewed.
