Use the IP validator
Check IPv4, IPv6, or CIDR-style input. Use Single IP for one value, or Multiple IPs for several values. The single-value field shows examples including 8.8.8.8, 2001:4860:4860::8888, and 192.168.1.0/24.
How to validate IP addresses
- Select Single IP or Multiple IPs.
- Enter one value, or in Multiple IPs, follow the placeholder: Paste IPs - one per line or comma-separated.
- Review the validation status and classification below the input. For IPv4 input, the implementation provides decimal, binary, and hexadecimal conversion output. Lookup details may be unavailable for some inputs.
- Use Copy for the single-result breakdown. After bulk results appear, use Copy CSV or Download CSV.
Limitations and external lookup privacy
- The tool does not specify a maximum number of bulk entries.
- Some inputs may have no network lookup details.
- Lookup details require an external network request through the implementation's
fetchIPInfofunction. - The local files do not identify the lookup provider or establish its retention and logging policy. They also do not document the exact lookup metadata fields.
Frequently asked questions
How do I validate a list of IP addresses?
Select the Multiple IPs tab, then paste IP addresses into the field. Enter one IP per line or separate values with commas. Review the results below the field, then use Copy CSV or Download CSV when needed.
Does this tool support CIDR notation?
Yes. The Single IP input accepts CIDR-style values such as 192.168.1.0/24, and the implementation processes CIDR input during validation.
What details can the results include?
Results include validation status and classification. For IPv4 input, the implementation also provides decimal, binary, and hexadecimal conversion output. Lookup details may be unavailable for some inputs.
