Image Effects Editor

Build a stack of non-destructive visual effects - blur, pixelation, color adjustments, borders, rounded corners, and drop shadows - with live before/after preview. Everything runs locally in your browser, nothing is uploaded.

Edit an image with layered effects

Load images into the file list, select one, and build its edit from effect layers. Each layer can be enabled or disabled, adjusted, reordered, or removed. The preview updates in the browser as you work.

Select an image and add effects

  1. Drop images into the drop zone or click browse files.
  2. Click a filename in the file list to make that image active.
  3. Choose an option in Add effect layer, then click the plus button. Available options are Blur, Pixelate, Brightness, Exposure, Contrast, Saturation, Hue, Color invert, Grayscale, Border, Padding, Rounded corners, and Drop shadow.
  4. Adjust the layer and review the live preview. The added layer is shown in Layer stack (top applies last); its visible title is Color Invert when you add Color invert.

Adjust the available effect controls

  • Blur uses Radius; Pixelate uses Block size.
  • Brightness, Contrast, and Saturation use Amount. Exposure uses Exposure.
  • Hue uses Rotation; Color Invert and Grayscale use Intensity.
  • Border uses Width and a color picker. Padding uses Size, a padding color picker, and Transparent.
  • Rounded Corners uses Radius. Drop Shadow uses Offset X, Offset Y, Blur, Color, and Opacity.

Limit Blur and Pixelate to a region

Blur and Pixelate can use Whole image or Region.

  1. Add Blur or Pixelate, then choose Region.
  2. Click Edit region and drag on the preview to set the rectangle.
  3. Any enabled Blur or Pixelate layer set to Region disables Apply to all. Set that layer to Whole image, disable it, or remove it to restore batch processing.

Preview the original and manage loaded files

Press and hold Hold to view original to temporarily compare the original preview. Release it to return to the edited preview. Use each layer's enable switch, Move up, Move down, and Remove layer controls to manage the stack. Click Remove from list on a file row to remove a loaded image.

Click Reset layers to clear the current effect layers. The tool has no undo-history control.

Export edited images

  1. Choose PNG (lossless, alpha) or WebP (alpha) from Output format. Selecting WebP reveals Quality, with a 1-100% range.
  2. Change the canvas dimensions through the available effects if needed. Border, Padding, and Drop shadow can change the output canvas dimensions; the tool does not crop or resize the original image content.
  3. When automatic processing finishes, download a completed file from its file-list row or use Download all as ZIP.
  4. Download a completed file from its file-list row, or click Download all as ZIP. Individual outputs use the source filename with an -effects suffix and the selected extension.

File intake and local processing

The file input accepts image MIME types. The visible format hint lists JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, and BMP. Unreadable image files are silently skipped.

Selected images are loaded with object URLs and processed through Canvas in the browser. The local script does not make an upload request for image processing.

Frequently asked questions

Does this tool crop, resize, or remove objects from my image?

It does not crop or resize the original image content, and it does not remove or retouch objects. Border, Padding, and Drop shadow can change the output canvas dimensions.

Is this an AI enhancement tool?

No. The tool applies the listed image effects through Canvas in your browser. It does not provide AI enhancement or object removal.

Can I apply effects to many images at once?

Yes. Loaded images are processed automatically when effects are eligible. A region-based Blur or Pixelate layer is applied automatically to the active image because its rectangle is image-specific.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

The local script loads selected images with object URLs and processes them through Canvas in the browser. It does not make an upload request for image processing.

Can I undo or change an effect after adding it?

There is no undo-history control. You can disable, edit, reorder, or remove layers, or use Reset layers to clear the current layer setup.
