Convert PPTX slides to images
The PPTX to Images Converter turns slides from a PowerPoint .pptx file into rasterized PNG or JPG images. Processing runs in your browser, and the output does not preserve editable slide objects.
Choose slides and output settings
- Drop PPTX files into the drop zone, or click browse files.
- Leave Slides blank for all slides. To select specific slides, enter a value such as
1-3, 5, 8-10. Invalid tokens and numbers outside the deck are ignored. - Choose a Scale from
1x - screento4x - very high. The interface labels3xasprint. - Choose PNG or JPG. For JPG, set JPG Quality from 1% to 100%; it starts at 92% and appears only when JPG is selected.
- Choose a Background option. Slide's own background uses the rendered slide background; Solid white and Custom color replace it, while Transparent is available for PNG output.
- Choose ZIP packaging: ZIP if more than one image, Always ZIP, or Never ZIP (download individually).
Convert, preview, and download the images
- After a file is ready, and whenever a setting changes, processing starts automatically. Slides are rendered in deck order.
- Click Preview in a file row to view the converted slide thumbnails. Images use slide-based file names.
- Use the file-row Download control or Download all as ZIP. The selected ZIP packaging setting controls whether a file is downloaded as a ZIP or as individual images. With one file and a non-ZIP setting, Download all as ZIP also downloads the images individually. Multiple PPTX files can be processed in one batch.
Choose how downloads are packaged
Use Never ZIP (download individually) to download images separately. The default ZIP if more than one image packages multiple images as a ZIP, while Always ZIP forces ZIP packaging. The file-row Download control follows the same setting. For one file with a non-ZIP setting, Download all as ZIP downloads the images individually.
Rendering limitations to expect
The result is a flat raster image, not an editable slide. Tables are rendered as simplified HTML tables. Charts, SmartArt diagrams, and other graphic frames may become placeholder boxes. Gradient, pattern, and picture fills are approximated. After conversion, a general Rendering differences detected notice may appear; it does not identify affected slide numbers individually.
Files, privacy, and practical limits
Files are unpacked and rendered locally in the browser. The code has no configured file-count limit, but large decks, many files, high scales, and available browser or device memory can affect processing. The interface does not provide a password prompt or explicit password-protection handling.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does converting PPTX to images upload my file anywhere?
No. The .pptx file is unpacked and each slide is rendered and encoded as an image inside your browser. The implementation processes the file locally.
Does this tool edit or let me extract editable slide content?
No. This tool rasterizes slides into flat images. It does not modify the presentation or export editable text, shapes, or other slide objects.
Will every slide element render exactly like PowerPoint?
No. Text, images, basic shapes, fills, and slide backgrounds are rendered, but tables are simplified and charts, SmartArt, and other graphic frames may become placeholder boxes. Gradient, pattern, and picture fills are approximated. A general rendering-differences notice may appear after conversion.
